Nigerian Music producer, Oguntade Adewale Damola, popularly known as Ajimovoix Drums, who made the popular 'FOCUS BEAT', while being interviewed in Vanguardlive, highlighted reason he abandoned singing and focused on Music production instead.
According to Ajimovoix, his popular music beat ‘FOCUS’ was not the first beat he made but the one that earned him popularity and recognition across Nigeria. He further highlighted that his style of singing which is said to be similar to that of Nigerian music icon, 9ice, made him withdraw from singing.
“My relationship with 9ice, made me draw back from singing because people said we were sounding alike. I had to wait and then do another thing entirely, so I could tell people that I can sing too.”
The Music producer (Ajimovoix Drums) is an Ikorodu-bred music producer. Born on 27th June, 1989.

He started his music career at the age of 13 with his gospel music band. He ventured into beat production at the age of 17. However, he would wait until 2021 before his popular dancehall beat: "focus", earned him the desired public recognition.
The music producer has worked with a few of Nigerian Musicians such as Naira Marley, Patoranking, Dice Ailes.
