How Mercy Aigbe Married Ex-husband’s Friend, Ex-Lover Reacts

 It’s no more news that popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has parted ways with Otunba Lanre Gentry: her estranged husband who she got married to in 2013 and parted ways in 2017.

What is news is that, the Edo-State born actress has remarried and not just that, she allegedly got married to her ex-husband buddy, Kazim Adeoti.

Mercy and Lanre after a 7-year drama filled marriage, parted ways with both parties accusing one another of different offences; While Mercy accused Lanre of domestic violence, Lanre accused the actress of infidelity.

Sources close to both Mercy and Lanre had revealed to Exola TV that the major reason for their breakup was domestic violence and the suspicion of Lanre that Mercy was dating Kazim his friend while still married to him, a claim the source said did not go down well with Mercy who vehemently denied the allegation, believing Lanre was looking for an excuse to justify his assault and violent inclinations.

Well, the actress has finally unveiled Kazim Adeoti as her new lover as she made the revelation on Sunday, January 23, 2022 to celebrate the birthday of Kazim, popularly known as Adekaz Productions in the Yoruba movie circles. Mercy Aigbe further revealed that their marriage took place in December of 2021 without any fanfare.

It should be noted that Lanre Gentry, the estranged husband of Mercy, remarried in September 2021 with fanfare as he serenaded the public with posts of his nuptial knot.

It appears that with the new development, Lanre Gentry isn’t letting go of the public drama as he posted a picture of himself, the actress and the new husband of the actress, to tell the world the man the actress just married used to be his friend, confirming what the close source told Exola TV.

“At last I thank God the truth is out. This is just one out of many. Glory be to God,” he wrote.
