The Exola Tv had reported that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu through his lead counsel, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor sought the presence of U.S and British Envoy at his court trials in Abuja, Nigeria.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu claimed that the presence of the British and U.S Envoys would necessitate fairness of his trial. Consequently, Mazi Nnamdi who is standing trial for a fifteen-count charges bordering on terrorism and treasonable felony, made a court appearance on Tuesday and Wednesday: 18th and 19th of January respectively.
The Exola Tv learnt that on the 19th of January, in the continuation of Mazi Kanu's trial that Eno Agodo, British Vice Consul, Lagos State, was in the Federal High Court, Abuja to observe Kanu's trial. The Premium Times reports that Eno Agodo sought permission from Mazi Kanu's lead counsel, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor to speak to Mazi Kanu while he was standing in the dock at the end of the court's proceeding.

The permission was granted; however, while the British envoy, Eno Agodo walked closer to the dock where Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was, he was prevented from speaking to Mazi Kanu by the Director of Legal Services of the Nigeria secret police.
The Exola Tvs had also reported that the United States of America declined Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's request to send delegates to monitor his court trial. According to the U.S authority, its officials are restricted from making appearances in public places as precaution against the spread of COVID-19.
