A House Divided Against Itself: Watch As Buhari's Security Escorts Fight Dirty With Those Of Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai's During President Buhari's Recent Visit To Kaduna State

 

Recall that president Muhammadu Buhari just rounded off a four-day visit to Kaduna State where he Commissioned several infrastructural projects executed by the Kaduna State government.

Meanwhile, a video obtained by ExolaTV shows that there was a heated clash between security escorts of president Muhammadu Buhari and those of the host governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai. 

The clash emanated  from distrust on the side of the security team of president Muhammadu Buhari who saw their counterpart on the side of the host governor as potential threat rather than partners. The Reliant News understands that the clash between the security escorts happened along Kowa road. 

Buhari's security team wanted stopping Nasir El-Rufai's escorts from escorting the governor to the Kowa bridge as president Muhammadu Buhari was already there waiting for the arrival of Mr. El-Rufai.

The security team of the host governor; hence, were perceived as security breach and intruders, consequently, the dramatic scuffle that ensued.

It is important to note that both president Buhari and Nasir El-Rufai' belong to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and the later being tipped by many to succeed the earlier. Also, El-Rufai is regarded as one the integral members of the Aso Rock cabal and a great influencer of president Buhari's decision makings. However, his influence on the president has reportedly dwindled since the re-election of president Buhari in 2019. Also, it is rumoured that the attorney general of the Federation, Abubakar Malami sees El-Rufai as a threat and has treated him as such by limiting his access to president Buhari. Understandably the reason of the faceoff between the security escorts of the two leaders.
