The Story Of This Bagged Three-year-old Boy Will Shock You

The story behind a Three-year-old boy in a sack is not only appalling but a reflection of the condition of poor children of poor wrong-headed parents in a poorly governed state as Nigeria. Bagged like  purchased items in a hurrying shopping; literally, he was indeed a purchased stock on the way to the buyer.

The unnamed father of this boy was caught on his way to deliver the boy to a man he had sold him to. When arrested by security operatives, he confessed to the crime and blamed the economic hardship occasioned by President Muhammadu Buhari's administration.

A Facebook user who spotted the story brought the attention of the Exola TV to it.

"According to Mr Sam Ibok via his wall; the father of the boy was caught in an attempt to dispose of the baby to unknown buyers and the culprit confessed that he had eight (8) children and as a result of hardship and inability to feed them, he decided to sell this one out to an unknown buyer. The culprit is currently in detention for more questioning".

Has Nigeria got to the stalemate; that point when parents start cooking and eating their wards like at the time of Biblical famine?
II King 6:29 “This woman said to me: ‘Come on, let’s eat your son today, then we will eat my son tomorrow.’ 29 So we cooked my son and ate him. Then the next day I said to her, ‘Kill your son so we can eat him,’ but she has hidden her son.”
