REAL MADRID REJECTS WESTHAM'S UNITED £21million BID FOR OUT-OF FAVOUR HAZARD.

West Ham have reportedly had an ambitious bid of £21million turned down by Real Madrid for Eden Hazard. Real Madrid are understood to be desperate to get the 30-year-old  winger off the books and want to sell him in the January transfer window.

Hammers boss David Moyes, is reportedly eager to bring the out-of-favour Belgian back to London despite him only making 55 appearances in over two years. But while Los  Blancos president Florentino Perez is “fed up” with Hazard, Westham’s offer was apparently deemed unacceptable and he will not let the player go for less than £43million. The  Italian manager was brutally honest back in his assessment of Hazard back in October. Ancelotti said: "Never in my career as a coach have I forced a player to stay when  they want to leave. "Hazard is ready, but his problem right now is that he has a coach who prefers other players, which can happen in a squad like this one."

The Belgium captain’s Real Madrid career has been hugely underwhelming since his arrival in 2019. He arrived having scored 111 goals in 352 appearances for Chelsea but  injuries and fitness problems have prevented him from reaching anywhere near the level of performances he regularly showed for the Blues. Still, along with the interest from Westham, Hazard has caught the attention of Newcastle and Everton in recent months. Yet he reportedly favours a return to the capital and there is still plenty of time for the Hammers to come to an agreement with Perez. Hazard has struggled with injury and failed to make much of an impact since joining Madrid in the summer of 2019 from Chelsea, where he had proved himself as one of Europe’s most exciting players in the previous seven years. The Belgian has suffered eleven different physical problems throughout his time in Spain.  Do you think Eden Hazard is worth taking a £43million gamble on?  Let us know in the comments section.
