Mali born French footballer, N'golo Kante has on "his story", revealed why his parents named him after a great king in Mali and what he shares in common with the great king whom he did not know but heard of.
He started his youth career in the year 1999 at the age of 8. He started playing for JS Suresnes and continued his stay there for more than a decade until 2010. He was often taken away from the radar because of his small stature by the bigger teams. In 2010 he joined the reserve team of Boulogne.
His senior debut of club career came in the year 2012, appearing in Ligue 2 season in a 1-2 losing cause against Monaco. He replaced Virgile Reset for the final 11 minutes of his debut. He made his International debut for France in the year 2016.
He was an essential part of midfield with which Leicester City went on to register their first ever Premier League title. He played all the 38 games representing Caen in Ligue 2 and finished up third in the league and finally making into the Ligue 1 in which he was instrumental. He was the sole reason for the excellence of Leicester City in the Premier League. He was named the man of the match playing against his former club Leicester City.
N'golo Kante Started his senior club career with Boulogne in the year 2012. He later shifted to Caen the next season followed by Leicester City till 2016. He currently plays for Chelsea.
He won the PFA Players' Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year to become the first outfield player to win back to back English League titles playing for different teams in 2017. He was named in the PFA Team of the Year in 2015. He topped the tackles table with a whopping 175 tackles at the end of the season 2015-2016 in the Premier League. He was named by L'Équipe as the world's 6th best footballer in 2016. He was nominated for the Ballon d'Or in 2007.

"My parents called me N'golo because it is the name of an ancient king in Mali. A King who started from below to conquer a kingdom. I used to collect garbage before. Today i play football and they watch me on TV. My story is also beautiful because i started from below."
