The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari who is known for his frequent medical vacations in the United Kingdom, has now dished U.K for another country. This is as a result of the U.K Government decision to ban flights from Nigeria from entering the country as a measure against the new COVID-19 variant: Omicron.
Despite the National Centre for Disease and Control (NCDC) claim that Nigeria is yet to record domestic case of the omicron variant of COVID-19, the U.K government went ahead to place restriction on visitors from Nigeria.

It is rumoured that the Nigeria president was making preparation to go for medical checkup in the United Kingdom and tried to pressurize the U.K Government to upturn it's travelling ban on Nigeria. It's also alleged that when the U.K government declined president Buhari's advances that the Nigerian President sought to be granted special consideration so as to enable him see his U.K based doctors. The Exola TV understands that the president could not change the decision of the U.K government to his favour. Interestingly, the Nigerian government in retaliation, banned flights from U.K government from entering Nigeria.
Today being 16th of December, the Exola TV learnt that president Buhari has left Nigeria for Turkey. However, the reason for visiting Turkey appear sketchy but it's understood that one of his major reasons is for his medical checkup.
