Former Liverpool and Barcelona player, Javier Mascherano has been announced the new coach of Argentina Under 20 National Team.
Javier Mascherano who announced his retirement from playing football last year, will take over from Fernando Batista who is leaving to work with Venezuela's National Senior Football Team.

Mascherano who was a defensive midfielder turned into a central defender was fans' favourite during his playing days at Liverpool FC in England and subsequently, Barcelona FC in Spain.
Many expect him to replicated his illustrious playing career in his coaching career which starts with the Argentina Under 20 National Football Team.
