Gabonese International, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang got frozen out of the Arsenal FC Team over what the club manager, Mikel Arteta called “latest disciplinary breach”.
However, the club has not precisely stated the offence the former Arsenal FC captain committed that got him stripped of the Club’s captaincy as well as frozen out if the team. Reports have it that the striker is not expected to return to the team as he is currently training alone in the club facility.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was dropped from the Arsenal squad that faced Southampton on the December 11th. He has subsequently missed the two games that came afterwards: West Ham on the 15th and Leeds united on the 18th.
While answering questions on whether the Gabonese will make the squad for Leeds united match, the manager, Mikel Arteta said he wouldn’t: “He’s not available for the Leeds game, and this is the situation right now,” he told the press.
The nature of the offence committed by the 32-year-old striker has been vaguely stated by the club; however, it’s understood that Aubumeyang was given a day off to visit his home in France and was told to return to England same night. The striker did not return same day which the club management understood to be an act of insubordination, compounded by his current dim in form.

However, the statement released on the Club’s website denotes that Aubumeyang might have done more than mere skipping training owing to his travelling to France.
“Following his latest disciplinary breach last week, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will no longer be our club captain, and will not be considered for selection for Wednesday’s match against West Ham United,” the statement on the Club’s website reads
“We expect all our players, particularly our captain, to work to the rules and standards we have all set and agreed.”
The Gabonese does not have a plain disciplinary records as his antecedent proves. During his days in Borussia Dortmund, he was often in the media for the wrongs.
The then Dortmund coach Peter Stoger, had spoken about his deliberate absence in a very crucial meeting of all the Club’s players. The coach revealed that when Aubumeyang was asked why he was absent from the meeting, he said he did forget.
Also, Thomas Tuchel the current Chelsea FC manager, during his days in Dortmund suspended Aubumeyang for travelling to Milan without the clubs approval.
