"Other routes bordering Ambazonia are free. The leadership of BnL are more concerned about the security of life and property of travellers, and so we are appealing to everyone to suspend every travel through the Bakassi coastal line”.

The BNL  agitation for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has taken a violent form. The BNL has severally demanded from the Federal Government of Nigeria the release of Mazi Kanu unconditionally from the Custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Recall that Mazi Kanu was illegally abducted from Kenya by the Nigerian Government and forcefully returned to Nigeria against his will for the continuation of his trial.

Recall also that the BNL had in a viral online  broadcast, stated that it would declare an independent state of Biafra on the 31st of October.

Consequently, with its unceasing  violent activities, the BNL has, recently, been involved in several gun battles with Nigeria Armed Forces.
