Expectantly, residents of the locality, young and old, rushed out with buckets and gallons irrespective of the danger posed by the flammable liquid, and high probability of the vehicle going up in flames.

In some cases in the past involving tanker spilling its content(Petrol), security agencies who knew the implication of not deserting the scene, joined other desperate but not ignorant Nigerians in scooping the spilled content; and in many cases in exception of the recent, are burnt to ashes for a few litters of spilled petrol.
