 One of the social vices currently ravaging the Nigerian youths is drug abuse. As can be seen in the video above, this hard drugs which are usually consumed by ignorant Nigerians turn them into animal-like creatures and leaving them, in most cases, permanently deformed either mentally or physically.

The Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, despite its spirited efforts in curbing drug abuse among the Nigerian youths mostly, the menace, has continued to permeate nook and crannies of our society unrestrictedly.

On Saturday, November 20th, the NDLEA Enugu State Command, uncovered an illegal factory where methamphetamine known as MKPURU MMIRI among the Igbos, are being produced. 

While speaking to news men, the NDLEA commander, Adeyemi Adeofe noted "Time will come when the effects of these chemicals will result to deadly health challenges like cancer, birth deformity and kidney problems".
