Exola Tv takes you through some important moments in the yesterday's Chelsea FC Vs Manchester United Premier League match.
The rivalry between these two giant EPL clubs is elusive to form and winning streak of either team. Both, irrespective of current form, winning losing streak, goes into the game traditionally with the hope of keeping the fans' shoulders high. Hence, the yesterday's game was not short of the traditional rivalry that characterize such an occasion involving Manchester United against Chelsea FC.
Who between the two clubs was lucky ?
Chelsea's dominance at the early stage of the game though resulted in clear cut chances but thanks to Callum Hudson-Odoi's imprecision or rather David de Gea's brilliance at the goal post, could not give them an opener.
Despite the blues dominance, it was the United, via awakening Jadon Sancho who had the opener. However, Sancho's goal was preceded by Antonio Rodiger's thunderous strike that would have parted the gloved near-excellent palms of David de Gea had it not hit the woodwork.
At this point, Chelsea dictated the pace, intensity of the game but Manchester United had the lead not until the penalty incident.
Manchester United despite their dismal form domestically in contrast to that of Chelsea, did prove that Chelsea's defense line is not as impenetrable as it appears. The absence of Ben Chiwell through injury might be the beginning of the end of Chelsea's good outings in the EPL games. Timo Werner display proved that he is not a striker to rely on to win the premier league.
To win the premier league as Chelsea currently believe they can, they must first believe they can lose the premier league.
