The Super Eagles of.... wait wait wait, these guys were not super by any means.
Nigeria just lost at home to the Central African Republic.
How did they fall from such a high pedestal?
They say there are no more minnows in African football, while that may be true, the lie you should never believe is that a team of footballers from the Central African Republic can beat the Super Eagles in Lagos.
That can only happen with something fishy in the background.
A lot of pundits will blame it on poor preparations, or the pitch. Some would blame the coach, or players' commitment, but we dare say this match has the underlining of a pre-determined result.
Central Africa Republic had 40.00 odds to win this match, and it happened.

Did you notice how Moses Simon (who has been on fire in France lately) suddenly cannot put a corner kick beyond the first line of defence.

There will be a second leg of this game in the next few days, don't be surprised to see a totally different Nigeria national team (I can't even call them the Super Eagles) dealing decisively with the Central African Republic to their campaign back on track.
