Fulani herdsmen have sponsors- Oyedepo declares, as former DSS Director reveals secrets

The President and Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, (a.k.a. Winners Chapel) Bishop David Oyedepo has joined the league of Nigerians who believe that the rampaging Fulani herdsmen were being sponsored to unleash mayhem on unsuspecting citizens of the country.

Recall that unknown gunmen had during the weekend attacked a branch of his church in Kogi State and abducted at least three worshippers.

It was gathered that the kidnappers stormed the church’s premises at Osara community, along Lokoja-Okene road in Adavi Local Government Council of the State when some of its members were rehearsing.

According to reports, the assailants were shooting sporadically before whisking the victims to an unknown destination.

Reacting, in a video making the rounds on social media, Oyedepo declared that “any gang up against this church crashes within one hour”.

The African richest pastor also warned all evil people to steer clear of his church.

He said, “Fulani herdsmen have become a menace, they are sponsored. I know it. There are things you think in your room that the Lord shows to his prophet.

“I saw this government coming in with a bloodthirsty god and I cried. The worst time in the history of Nigeria is 2015 till now. And it is worsening day by day, the end has finally come.

“Apart from us in the Jesus family, many have never had a smile in the last five years on our streets. We don’t have record so we don’t know how many people have committed suicide.

“If they dash me presidency I won’t take it. I knew that since 1984 not now. It is a very great office but not my calling, however, in this my calling, don’t come near. Any gang up against this church crashes within one hour”.

Some military personnel are aiding insurgency-Ejiofor, Former DSS chieftain laments

In a related development, a former Director in the Department of State Services (DSS) Barrister Mike Ejiofor, has decried the emerging scenario that obviously suggests that some retired and serving military personnel are working with Boko Haram elements to destroy the country.

Speaking on a current affairs program, Saturday Sunrise, monitored in Lagos, he said with the level of destruction and audacious attacks on the Nigerian Defence Academy and for bringing down an air force aircraft, “It is obvious that some retired and serving military personnel are aiding them.”

Ejiofor said apart from the foreign training some of the terrorists might have received, bringing down an aircraft and invasion of NDA without any arrest or trace almost a week after, is an indication that they have collaborators in the military.

He, however, urged that more is required in intelligence gathering to fish out the perpetrators of these dastardly acts.

According to him, “We know that some of the terrorists received training, but bringing down an aircraft and invading the NDA without being caught speaks volumes. Bringing down an aircraft requires the launch of a scud missile.

“These can only be achieved through those who have received military training andexpert at such.

It is crystal clear that some serving and retired military personnel are working for the insurgents. We need to do more in the area of intelligence gathering to arrest the perpetrators.”
