Warning to that London club!!! Ronaldo scores against small teams.

The biggest news of the transfer market this season so far is that CR7 aka Ororo, has found his way back to Manchester United (forget about all that drama with Messi, we all know he decided to leave since last season).

A statement on the Red Devils’ website reads, “Manchester United is delighted to confirm that the club has reached agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical.”

The Premier League is usually not where you’d find Ballon d’Or winners, but Ronaldo alone is coming with five.

Manchester United have brought him back to firmly state their intentions for season.

But who do United, now with Ronaldo have to come up against?

For most of the period in his first spell, Arsenal were one of the top four teams in the Premier League.

Nowadays, the Gunners are nowhere near what they used to be. Arsenal used to parade players that challenged for major awards and international trophies. But a gradual decline has seen them become satisfied with the likes of Ben White, Bukayo Saka, and Granit Xhaka….

Back in his first spell, Ronaldo scored 118 goals in 292 games for the Red Devils.

He played a total of 15 games across all competitions against the Gunners, scored 6 and assisted two.

But that was when he was still a beast in the making, yet to hit his prime, and Arsenal were close to a top team. Now, he’s coming with loads of experience, and knows how to score against SMALL teams.

But why has United brought him back at the age of 36?

For Ronaldo, age is nothing but numbers. That’s why he’s one of the greatest players ever. Some call him the GOAT.

A quick look at United’s squad shows that they may perhaps be lacking a consistent goal scorer who can guarantee at least 30 goals a season.

Every championship winning team needs that, and if one looks at how United performed last season, that may just be all they need.

Ronaldo will come into different setting in the EPL where new power houses like Manchester City, and Leicester City have emerged. He will find out that United’s nemesis in the league has changed over the years.

It’s no longer Arsenal.

While the Gunners are only gunning for relevance in the Premier League with the likes of Partey after Partey, and Awilo Lokomba, United have brought back their legend to gun for the Premier League title again.
